Legendary creators of hits such as Baśka, Son of the Blue Sky, Bohema, Love Story, Na zawsze i na wieczność, and Here I Am will make any event unforgettable. The charisma of the band’s musicians, the magic of Robert Gawliński’s vocals, and his excellent rapport with the audience make a Wilki concert incomparable.
It was 1992, and everyone in Poland sang songs from WILKI’s debut album: Son of the Blue Sky, Aborygen, or Eli Lama Sabachtani. The album immediately became a bestseller and achieved platinum status. Following this huge success, the band embarked on a tour that lasted nearly three years without interruption. Such an intense rock ‘n’ roll lifestyle and the exhaustion from the fast-paced rhythm the musicians set for themselves led to the decision to put the band on hiatus for several years.
In 2002, the band returned with a new album, 4, which sold 100,000 copies and was another success. Songs like Baśka and Urke topped the charts. The next two studio albums released by the band achieved Gold status and were full of hits like Bohema, Love Story, Słońce pokonał cień, Here I Am, and Na zawsze i na wieczność.
In 2016, WILKI released their eighth album, Przez dziewczyny, promoted by the song of the same title. It’s the most cheerful and rock ‘n’ roll album in their discography. In terms of atmosphere, the album is reminiscent of the biggest hits from 4. The undeniable influence on the album’s creation was the addition of a new member: frontman Robert Gawliński’s son, Beniamin Gawliński, who plays acoustic guitar and keyboards.
In 2017, WILKI celebrated the 25th anniversary of their debut album, and on May 11th, exactly 26 years after their debut, they released the double album 26/26, featuring 25 of their greatest hits and one new song, Na krawędzi życia, which promoted the album.
In 2020, the band embarked on the “Niebieska Trasa” (Blue Tour) through Poland’s largest cities, where they performed their entire 1992 debut album Wilki. The tour, fully organized and produced by Perspektywy Agency, was a great success, and the band proved that despite the passage of time, they are still in excellent form.
