The performance is led by the most famous Cuban in Poland – maestro Jose Torres – featuring hot, highly energetic Cuban dance music!

A concert by Jose Torres & Havana Dreams (performance time approx. 90 minutes, 7 musicians), presenting a diverse artistic program full of emotions—from joy and high energy to lyrical ballads—capturing the atmosphere of the streets of Havana. Between songs, Jose introduces the themes of the pieces, shares Cuban anecdotes, and interacts with the audience. This is a musical show with well-known, crowd-pleasing elements, actively engaging the audience in shared fun. We present a band-format performance that works perfectly for events focused on a lively, participatory concert experience.

Jose Torres

An artist from Cuba, a virtuoso percussionist who has been living permanently in Poland for many years. Founder of Poland’s first salsa orchestra, “Jose Torres y Salsa Tropical.” With over 30 years on the Polish music scene, he has collaborated with many stars, including Maryla Rodowicz, Kayah, Ewa Bem, Urszula, Maanam, Ryszard Rynkowski, Stanisław Soyka, Grzegorz Ciechowski, Raz Dwa Trzy, Mietek Szcześniak, Blue Café, and many others. He has also performed and recorded with leading jazz musicians such as Tomasz Stańko, Wojciech Karolak, Zbigniew Namysłowski, Jarosław Śmietana, and Leszek Możdżer.

Havana Dreams

Havana Dreams is a band led by the renowned Cuban-born musician Jose Torres.

The band’s repertoire features the essence of traditional Cuban music, well-known songs in the style of Buena Vista Social Club, as well as original compositions. The artists also present contemporary Cuban genres such as Timba, which plays a significant role in today’s culture. Concerts by Jose Torres & Havana Dreams are a journey to warm climates—to the streets of Havana—where sunshine and the aroma of coffee and cigars leave no doubt that we are in a land of joyful music, warmth, and carefree spirit.
