Phao Sanato takes the audience on a ritualistic journey, intertwining his vocals and live instruments with the deep pulse of electronic music. Following the voice of the heart, he creates an experience at the intersection of a ceremony, a concert, and ecstatic dance.
In his music, blues meets flamenco, Brazilian samba blends with Indian chants, jazzy guitar collides with African drums, and Middle Eastern mysticism. The low-frequency spectrum is enriched by deep bass and synthesizers, while an upbeat kick drum inspires dance. During the concert, Phao invites profound authenticity. Nature serves as his greatest inspiration, and every sound in his music holds a meaningful place. The artist’s mission is to celebrate the miracle of life.
Phao Sanato is a vocalist, multi-instrumentalist, and music producer, Phao lives and breathes music. Always present in his life, it allows him to decorate time, express emotions, and heal the spirit. In addition to singing, he plays electric and acoustic guitar, flutes, hand drums, berimbau, pandeiro, tanbur, percussion instruments, synthesizers, and keyboards.
He has performed at festivals such as Pol’and’Rock, Vibration Festival, Ostróda Reggae Festival, and Summer Contrast. Phao is a co-creator of the bands Makiwara and Gaja. He graduated from the Krzysztof Komeda Jazz Music School in Warsaw.
