For years, the Perspective Agency has been bringing amazing jazz performances to audiences worldwide. And next year, they’re keeping up the momentum with more incredible shows featuring talented artists.
Continuing this tradition, we’re excited to announce that the next big performer in this concert series will be the legendary Jazz Icon – Dianne Reeves!
Winner of five Grammy Awards and recognized as one of the top jazz vocalists globally, Reeves has graced the White House stage numerous times. She performed at President Obama’s state dinner for the Chinese President and at the Governors Ball. In recent years, Reeves has toured worldwide in various contexts, including the “Sing the Truth” tribute to Nina Simone, alongside Lizz Wright and Angelique Kidjo. She collaborated with legendary producer Arif Mardin (known for Norah Jones and Aretha Franklin) on the Grammy-winning album “A Little Moonlight.” When her holiday collection, “Christmas Time is Here,” was released, Ben Ratliff from The New York Times praised it, saying:

Her latest release, “Beautiful Life,” features tracks with stars like Gregory Porter, Robert Glasper, Lalah Hathaway, and Esperanza Spalding. Produced by Terri Lyne Carrington, the album earned the prestigious Grammy Award for Best Jazz Vocal Album in 2015. Additionally, Reeves was honored with honorary doctorates from renowned institutions like Berklee College of Music and Juilliard School. In 2018, the National Arts Association bestowed upon her the title of Jazz Master—the highest recognition for jazz artists in the United States.
Reeves recorded and performed alongside Wynton Marsalis and the Lincoln Center Jazz Orchestra. She also collaborated with the Chicago Symphony Orchestra under the direction of Daniel Barenboim and served as a soloist conducted by Sir Simon Rattle at the Berlin Philharmonic. Notably, Reeves was the first Chair of Jazz Creativity at the Los Angeles Philharmonic and the first vocalist to perform at the renowned Walt Disney Concert Hall.
Dianne Reeves appeared in George Clooney’s film “Good Night, and Good Luck,” which earned six Oscar nominations. She also won a Grammy Award for Best Jazz Vocal Performance for the soundtrack of this movie.
Furthermore, Dianne Reeves made history by winning three consecutive Grammy awards for Best Jazz Vocal Performance, a groundbreaking achievement in the history of these awards.
